Overview of the STAND*Relationships Presentation

The STAND*Relationships presentation is a tailored 1-2 hour experience that focuses on the constant changes and challenges found within the relationships of your life. This session demonstrates that living according to Proverbs 31 is not always simple or pleasant, but rather, involves navigating through the complexities that each relationship brings.

Purpose and Approach

The primary goal of the STAND*Relationships presentation—covering relational, business, struggles, and faith aspects—is to encourage attendees to reflect on what balance looks like for them as they manage relationships with family, romantic partners, friends, trauma survivors, and adversaries throughout life’s journey. The session emphasizes experiential learning and Christian teachings, recognizing that there is no universal solution and that each day presents new challenges, as taught by the Christian faith.

The Stand*Relationships offering will guide participants through:

• Assessing whether they are personally whole enough for a relationship
• Identifying the five pillars of relationships
• Recognizing myths and self-sabotaging behaviors in relationships
• Learning how to forgive and contribute positively for a lifetime
• Spotting early signs of trouble in relationships

Additional Offerings

Group sessions are available for singles, married individuals, those in transitional relationship stages, and anyone facing difficult relationship situations. The Marriage in the Checkout Line (MICL) Workshops serve as companion offerings, providing further support and guidance.
